Annual Children's Coat Drive
We have started the Annual Children's Coat Drive benefitting McDonnell, Martin Luther King, Rolling Hills Elementary Schools and the Dr. Richard Showers Center After-School Care Program. Your donation of cash or a coat will make a pround impact on the students we serve. The simple act of providing warm coats keeps the students physically comforatble but also lifts their spirits and instill a sense of security and confidence. 2023 Outreach Initiatives
In 2023 Second Chance Deliverance & Restoration Ministries, Inc., celebrated 18 years of community service and kingdom work; we are excited about what God has done. Although 2023 continued to be a year of challenges for the ministry, but God is faithful. In spite of all, we were blessed to continue our mission and purpose through the following outreach initiatives and accomplishments:
- Annual Children's Coat benefitting McDonnell, Martin Luther King and Rolling Hills Elementary Schools and the Dr. Richard Showers Recreation Center
- The Table is Set (feeding the homeless), held at First Stop, Inc. Day Center
- Annual Food Drive
- Community Outreach - monetary contributions made to Alabama Nonviolent Offenders Organization Winter Essential Drive, Dr. Richard Showers Recreation Center After-School Care Program (fees paid for six months)
