Jesus Said, "Follow Me!"

Followers of Jesus are known as Christians.  The following Scripture passages tell the good news about what it means to be a Christian.

As a Christian, I believe that...

1.  God's love for the world is revealed in Jesus Christ.  John 1:14
 
2.  Jesus Christ died to take away my sin.  John 1:29; 10:11

3.  Being saved is a gift of love from God.  John 3:16

4.  Faith in Jesus Christ will save me from sin and set me free.  John 3:17, 18; 8:31-36

5.  I must accept Jesus Christ to become a child of God.  John 1:12; 12:36

6.  As a child of God, I will receive eternal life.  John 3:36; 5:24; 6:40; 10:27, 28; 11:25, 26; 17:3

7.  Jesus will send me the Holy Spirit to help me live a new life.  John 4:24; 14:16, 17; 14:26

8.  To follow Jesus means to follow His command to love others.  John 13:34, 35
